This page explains how EduCount Companion handles information and outlines the privacy approach of OWL FURNITURE LIMITED for this application.
This privacy policy applies to the EduCount Companion application for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by OWL FURNITURE LIMITED (collectively, the “Application”). OWL FURNITURE LIMITED is referred to in this policy as the “Service Provider”.
The Application does not collect, log or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. When the Application is used while connected to the internet, temporary technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted to facilitate connectivity, but such data is not retained or used for tracking purposes.
The Application does not collect precise real-time information about the location of your mobile device.
Because the Application does not collect personal information during normal use, no user data is shared with third parties.
Because the Application does not collect personal information in normal operation, uninstalling the Application removes it from your device without the need for a separate account closure process.
If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by writing to megan8fletcher@gmail.com.
As the Application does not collect personal information during ordinary use, there is generally no user personal data retained by the Application itself. If you voluntarily provide personal information to the Service Provider outside the Application, that information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
If you voluntarily provide personal information to the Service Provider outside the Application and later wish to have it deleted, you may submit a deletion request by emailing megan8fletcher@gmail.com. Eligible information will be removed unless retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate administrative purposes.
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher age threshold required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s data is not placed at risk through ordinary use of the Application alone. If personal information is voluntarily provided through other means by a child under the applicable age threshold, a parent or guardian must provide consent where required by law.
Because the Application does not collect personal data through ordinary operation, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. Even so, no system is completely secure. The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any information it may hold.
Because the Application does not collect personal data through ordinary use, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you have voluntarily provided, the Service Provider will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this page together with a revised effective date. Previous versions may be made available upon request by contacting megan8fletcher@gmail.com.
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or the privacy practices related to the Application, please contact the Service Provider at megan8fletcher@gmail.com.
